Anew takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can control or delete it. We do not sell your personal information.

• Account information: Email address and encrypted password when you register.
• Conversation data: The messages you exchange with Anew, stored to provide continuity and generate your recovery project.
• Project data: Your 90-day recovery roadmap, tasks, and progress information.
• Payment information: Billing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your card details directly.
• Usage data: Basic analytics about how you use the app (e.g., pages visited, features used), used to improve the service.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and personalize the Anew service
• To generate your recovery project using AI
• To send you reminders and check-in notifications (only if you opt in)
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To improve the service

4. Third-Party Services

We share limited data with the following trusted third parties to operate our service:

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription:

• Your data remains accessible until the end of your billing period.
• After 90 days following cancellation, your data may be permanently deleted.

6. Deleting Your Data

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing hello@anewapp.net. We will process your request within 30 days.

7. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) for data in transit. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext. We regularly review our security practices.

8. Cookies

Anew uses session cookies necessary for authentication and service function. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising.

9. Children's Privacy

Anew is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice.
